MEXICO
MEXICO IS NOT ONE PLACE
The mistake most people make with Mexico is treating it as a single destination with a single character. It isn't. Oaxaca and Cancún share a country the way Marrakech and Oslo share a continent: technically true, practically meaningless. The Mexico worth designing a serious trip around is plural, regional, and in some cases still genuinely off the radar of most international visitors.
The Copper Canyon system in Chihuahua is deeper and more extensive than the Grand Canyon and sees a sliver of the traffic. The Yucatán's cenote network is one of the most extraordinary underground geological systems on earth, and most visitors only ever see the two or three that have parking lots. Oaxaca's culinary and craft traditions run deep enough that a week there barely scratches the surface. Baja's Pacific coast hosts one of the great wildlife spectacles on the planet every winter, when gray whales arrive in the lagoons to calve in water shallow enough to touch them.
We build Mexico itineraries around that kind of specificity. A region chosen deliberately, explored with depth, guided by people who have spent years in that particular corner of the country. Mexico rewards that approach more than almost anywhere, because the gap between the version most tourists see and the version that's actually there is wider here than almost anywhere else we work.
