Where the journey began
Some journeys don’t just take you somewhere new... they change the way you see the world. For us, that moment came in Belize in 2008.
We had always been drawn to wild places. The rush of whitewater, the rhythm of a trail, the quiet awe of a hidden cove. But Belize revealed something deeper: travel that felt both untamed and intentional. Days filled with exploration gave way to evenings of reflection, connection, and stillness.
It was the first time we experienced adventure and comfort working in harmony, not as opposites, but as partners.
And it changed the way we wanted to travel forever.
A way of traveling
Years later, beneath the Patagonian sky, that idea came into sharper focus.
We spent our days hiking windswept ridgelines and tracing glacial valleys. At night we returned to warm lodges, shared meals, and the kind of quiet that only exists in truly wild places.
That journey affirmed something we had begun to understand: the most meaningful travel doesn’t force you to choose between exploration and ease.
It allows you to experience both.
That balance — wildness and refinement, discovery and comfort — would eventually become the foundation for Peregrine Travel Advisors.
From passion to purpose
Peregrine began with a simple goal: to help others experience the same kind of journeys that had shaped our own.
Journeys that move you. Journeys that bring together exploration and elegance, curiosity and connection.
Over the years we’ve wandered through temples, hiked forest trails, paddled quiet lakes, and explored national parks with our three children... always chasing the moments that become stories you tell for years.
We know how difficult it can be to carve out time for travel that truly matters. Between busy schedules, endless options, and the pressure to “do it right,” planning a meaningful trip can feel overwhelming.
That’s where we come in. Our role isn’t simply to book travel. It’s to design journeys that fit your life and reflect what matters most to you.
The natural evolution of travel
Over the years, we’ve noticed something interesting about the way people travel. For many, the journey begins with simple curiosity: a weekend away, a beach vacation, perhaps a first family trip somewhere familiar.
Then something shifts.
They begin to seek something deeper: a sense of discovery, a connection to nature, a place that feels far removed from the ordinary. A national park replaces the resort. A rainforest replaces the beach. A remote landscape replaces the crowded itinerary. What begins as a vacation gradually becomes exploration.
We’ve seen this progression again and again, and we’ve experienced it ourselves. Many of the travelers we work with find themselves moving through a natural evolution:

The peregrine falcon is one of the world’s great travelers: swift, far-ranging, and at home in wild landscapes across the globe.
We chose the name as a reflection of the journeys we love to design: bold yet intentional, adventurous yet purposeful.
