What exactly is a travel advisor?

How does this work?
You tell us where you want to go and how you like to travel. We build a plan around that -- lining up accommodations, activities, and transportation -- and you get a clean itinerary with all your details in one place.
Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking online?
Because your time is better spent sipping wine in Tuscany than navigating cancellation policies. We cut the clutter, open doors to perks you might miss, and help things go right -- and get fixed faster when they don't.
What kind of trips do you plan?
Pretty much anything worth doing. Family adventures, couples getaways, river cruises, expedition sailings, safaris, classic treks -- you name it, and we'll make it happen.
Will you book my flights?
We only handle business and first class, and only as part of a larger itinerary. For most standard flights, it's often cheaper and easier for you to book direct (and handle any changes right with the airline).
Can you book vacation rentals like Airbnb?
Usually, no. We work with vetted hotels, lodges, and trusted partners where we can both vouch for the quality and add value (perks, upgrades, support). For well-established clients, we can sometimes arrange a vacation rental through our supplier network -- but it's the exception, not the rule.
What perks can I expect?
Room upgrades when available, resort credits, early check-in or late check-out, welcome treats -- the little extras that make a trip feel special. It depends on the property and timing, but we will always sweeten the deal.
Can you link my loyalty accounts?
Absolutely. We'll make sure your loyalty numbers are attached so you keep stacking points and status.
Can I use my credit card points?
Not through us. We recommend using points for flights -- it's where you'll see the best return.
What if I've already booked part of my trip?
That's fine. If you've locked in flights or a key hotel, we can often build the rest around it -- just let us know what's set and what's still open.
How much do your services cost?
Nothing extra. Our planning is covered by the partners we book with, so you won't pay more to book through us. For very complicated itineraries or deep destination research, we may charge an additional fee, but we'll always let you know up front -- no surprises.
Can you plan last-minute trips?
Sometimes, yes. But the magic happens when we have time to work with -- more options, better perks, smoother everything. Last-minute long weekend in Napa? Done. But a three-week safari in Botswana is going to take a bit more time to plan.
What if plans change while I'm traveling?
We're here to help when the big stuff shifts -- flight changes, weather hiccups, a hotel that drops the ball. We aren't a 24/7 concierge for your beach chairs, but if something important goes sideways, we'll get it sorted.
What's the best way to get the most from working with you?
Reach out early and be open about your priorities -- whether that's adventure, downtime, or a mix of both. The more time and clarity we have, the better the results.
Do you work with groups or private charters?
Yes -- small groups, family reunions, private yachts or planes, corporate retreats -- we'll make it happen.
