NEPAL

Eight of the world's ten tallest mountains are here. Most visitors only see one.
The Everest corridor gets the attention, and it deserves some of it. Standing in the Khumbu Valley with Everest filling the skyline is one of those experiences that earns its reputation. But the trail to Base Camp now moves at the pace of a queue, and the teahouses along it have become a well-worn circuit that delivers a specific and increasingly predictable version of Nepal.
The Annapurna Circuit, the Manaslu Circuit, the remote valleys of Mustang and Dolpo: these are the itineraries that serious trekkers have been quietly pursuing for years, and they deliver a combination of mountain scale and cultural depth that the Everest corridor can no longer match for solitude. Upper Mustang in particular, the ancient walled kingdom that remained closed to outsiders until 1992, carries a Tibetan cultural texture that feels increasingly rare in a region where the border has otherwise homogenized a great deal.
Nepal is also two countries in one, a fact that many trekking-focused itineraries ignore entirely. The Terai lowlands along the Indian border are home to Chitwan and Bardia National Parks, where tiger and greater one-horned rhinoceros populations have recovered to a degree that represents one of conservation's genuine success stories. Moving between the Himalayan high country and the jungle lowlands in a single itinerary gives you a Nepal that very few visitors ever fully encounter, and one that changes the entire frame of what the trip is about.

Itinerary inspirations
Each of these itineraries is a starting point — a canvas awaiting your colors. We’ll tailor every detail, from rhythm to route, until your journey feels unmistakably yours.

Ways to explore
Think of these as a glimpse of what’s possible. Together, we’ll design a journey that reflects your style and spirit.

MONASTERIES & MOUNTAIN SPIRITS
Step inside centuries-old gompas where crimson-robed monks chant beneath fluttering prayer flags. Join a private guide to explore hidden monasteries and gain a deeper sense of Nepal’s spiritual rhythm — a journey of quiet reflection amid soaring peaks.

WILD ENCOUNTERS IN CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Where jungle meets river, track one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, and elephants on guided safaris. Canoe quiet waterways, then retreat to your riverside lodge. These wild moments offer both thrill and reflection — a reminder that Nepal’s magic lies as much in its lowlands as its summits.

TREKKING THE TRAILS LESS TRAVELED
Go beyond the Everest crowds on private treks through Mustang or the Annapurna foothills. Led by expert local guides, each step reveals Nepal’s quiet grace — prayer flags fluttering above terraced fields, the scent of juniper smoke, and the soft hum of yak bells carried on mountain air.

CULTURAL IMMERSION IN KATHMANDU VALLEY
Step into centuries-old courtyards and temple squares, guided by local artisans and historians. Learn to make momos with a Nepalese chef, visit hidden shrines in Patan, or join monks for evening prayers. These intimate encounters breathe life into Nepal’s timeless spiritual rhythm.

Where you'll stay
We don't book beds. We select base camps. Every property here was chosen because it earns its place in the landscape and adds something to the journey that a different property simply couldn't. Some are remote. Some are remarkable. Most are both.

TIGER TOPS THARU LODGE
A twelve-room longhouse-style lodge on the western edge of Chitwan, run by the group that pioneered wildlife tourism in this part of Nepal before the park was even officially declared. The design stays deliberately rustic, natural materials, an organic vegetable garden supplying the kitchen, campfires and communal dining most evenings. What sets it apart is the resident herd of elephants living freely across eighteen acres, guests get to know them by name rather than ride them, genuinely ethical interaction rather than the more exploitative version still common elsewhere in the region.

MAKSHA MUSTANG
Hidden in the arid beauty of Upper Mustang, Moksha is a mountain retreat in every sense — raw, soulful, and restorative. Stone and timber echo the landscape, while spa rituals and stargazing terraces bridge body and spirit in the Himalayan silence.
